Bodega Harbour Ocean-View Hot Tub Retreat is described as a beautiful, spacious, and exceptionally well-appointed home that feels relaxing, private, and ideal for shared stays. The property is praised for its comfortable furnishings, inviting layout, en suite bedrooms, and generous common spaces that make it easy for guests to gather while still enjoying privacy. Guests consistently highlight the immaculate cleanliness, tasteful decor, and well-maintained condition throughout the home. Its setting is appreciated for being peaceful, quiet, and conveniently close to town, beaches, trails, dining, and area attractions. The standout feature is the spectacular ocean and bay scenery, with breathtaking sunset and wildlife views visible from nearly every room. The kitchen is repeatedly noted as fully equipped and thoughtfully stocked, and guests also enjoyed the hot tub, patio, deck, entertainment options, and reliable connectivity.

Overview

Feel the salt breeze from your private hot tub as the sun sets over the Pacific. This three-story contemporary retreat in Bodega Harbour sleeps 6 in three king suites, each with its own smart TV and luxe bedding. The expansive deck hosts dinner for 10 under the stars. Just 1.4 miles from Doran Beach and 2.3 miles from the headland's whale watching trails. Pour a glass of local wine, sink into the bubbling water, and let the ocean rhythms reset your pace.

Spend mornings on the deck as the dew burns off the fairways, afternoons walking the bluff trails or playing the Robert Trent Jones Jr. Course, and evenings watching the sun melt into the Pacific from the hot tub. Vaulted ceilings with exposed honey-toned beams draw the eye up; the navy sectional and swivel chairs face the wood-burning fireplace as floor-to-ceiling windows hold the Pacific. A 65-inch smart TV covers evening rituals on the wood console. A professional gas range, four-door French door fridge, and warm wood cabinetry against light granite make the kitchen a serious cook's room — the curved peninsula with bar seating takes casual mornings. Beyond it, the dining table sets the family for the long, slow Bodega Harbour dinners these homes were built for. OUTDOOR LIVING Step onto the expansive multi-level deck system where an outdoor dining table for ten awaits your sunset dinners. Fire up the built-in gas grill for coastal cookouts with the Pacific as your backdrop. The private hot tub offers the ultimate relaxation — soak under the stars while listening to the distant ocean. The deck's partial covering ensures comfort in any weather. SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS The primary suite occupies the entire top floor, where you wake to panoramic Pacific views from your king bed with a 55-inch smart TV at the ready. Each of the three suites features a king bed with premium linens and its own 55-inch smart TV. One guest suite showcases soothing lavender walls, while another features coastal-inspired floral bedding in blues and greens. Wood dressers and comfortable seating complete each private retreat. Altogether, the home comfortably sleeps 6. PROPERTY AMENITIES -- Private hot tub -- Wood-burning fireplace. (wood not provided, please bring if you would like to enjoy this feature) -- Full kitchen with gas range -- Built-in gas grill -- Multi-level deck with ocean views -- Parking for 3 vehicles(driveway and road parking only, Garage not guest accesible)

Fire up the built-in grill on the multi-level deck while the Pacific stretches out from your perch, then drop into the private hot tub off the main level. You've got the whole home, dogs welcome, with a wood-burning fireplace and an outdoor pool. Punch in the keypad code at the door, and pull up to three cars into the driveway.

Bodega Harbour puts you at the heart of Sonoma Coast adventures. Walk 0.2 miles to Shorttail Gulch Trailhead for coastal hikes, or drive 1.4 miles to family-friendly Doran Beach for beachcombing and kite flying. The famous Bodega Head whale watching spot is 2.3 miles away — volunteers help spot gray whales January through May. For that essential Bodega Bay experience, head 2.6 miles to Spud Point Crab Company for their legendary crab sandwiches and award-winning clam chowder. Closer dining includes The Dog House (1.7 miles) for casual fare and Drakes Fireside Lounge at Bodega Bay Lodge (1.2 miles) for upscale coastal cuisine. Stock up on groceries at Diekmann's Bay Store (2.5 miles) or grab morning coffee at Captain Davey's Coffee and Ice Cream (1.7 miles). Wine lovers can taste cool-climate Pinot Noir at Sonoma Coast Vineyards (1.8 miles), the only tasting room directly in Bodega Bay.

Bodega Bay is about 90 minutes from San Francisco — a beautiful drive up 101 and out Highway 1 through farmland and coastal ranches. Park up to 3 vehicles in the driveway (no street parking needed). A car makes exploring the Sonoma Coast effortless — it unfolds for miles in either direction. Cell service is light along the coast, so downloading offline maps before you arrive is a good idea.

The home stays naturally cool thanks to ocean breezes and coastal fog — no AC needed, though you'll want layers even in summer when highs only reach the 60s. Take advantage of the Alexa speakers for music throughout your stay. The wood-burning fireplace creates perfect ambiance on foggy evenings — wood is not provided, so please bring your own if you'd like to enjoy this feature. From the top floor primary suite, you might spot migrating whales December through May. The multi-level design means stairs between all rooms — something to consider for guests with mobility needs. The primary renter must be 25 or older. Pro tip: claim your spot in the hot tub for sunset — the golden hour views across the Pacific are unforgettable.

This property exceeded our expectations! It was so beautiful! The location overlooking the ocean was just spectacular! The home was very spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was amazing; very well supplied with quality appliances and cookware. We loved the layout. There were 3 couples and each couple had their own bathroom. The master bedroom was amazing! Very spacious and beautiful scenery all around. The bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub as well. Everyone in our party really enjoyed themselves and loved the property! High recommend! We will definitely book it again when we're in the area.

The property is amazing. The pictures do not do justice to the views. The views are amazing from every single room. The house is amazing and was set up even better than we thought. Definitely will be back here again!

Perfect for a holiday getaway. Teenagers really appreciated having a zone to themselves on the lower level. View from living room is fantastic.

We really enjoyed our stay at this location , especially the beautiful views and sunsets every evening. The outdoor space was lovely , we spent time barbecuing, relaxing in the hot tub, and sitting outside watching deer and jackrabbits pass by. A few things to note for future guests: the house heats up quite a bit during the day, even when the weather is mild. On a 67° day, the upstairs master bedroom reached nearly 90°, and since the house doesn’t come with fans, I’d recommend bringing your own if you tend to run warm. The spice rack is available, but it’s more geared toward baking, so if you plan to cook meals, you’ll want to bring basics like salt and pepper. The board games provided were also incomplete, so bringing your own might be a good idea. All in all, the setting was peaceful and the amenities like the hot tub and BBQ made for a fun, relaxing stay. With a few small additions, this place could be even more comfortable, but we still had a great time and loved the views.
