This was our second time staying in this complex and we had a great experience with this unit. It was clean and well maintained. Everything was in great condition and well stocked with the necessities. Beautiful view from the back porch. The complex is quiet and friendly and in a very convenient location to grocery stores, restaurants and most importantly THE BEACH! We had a great stay here.

Our stay at Bethany Bay was quite pleasant with wonderful weather and a great pool with playground. There were lots of bikeable locations to swim in the bay, and cafe/restaurants with shopping. The condo however had quite a few issues... It is advertised as 'First Floor Condo' however upon arrival it is quite obvious the condo is actually on the second floor. The stairs are roomy and not steep though so while we were deceived, it was manageable. When first arriving, the condo had an overwhelming odor of wet dog, and the carpets lacked a good vacuuming and ants had taken up on some sticky spills in the kitchen. Again, not a huge deal but when vacationing it is not well received to have to air out and immediately clean your quarters. Finally, the downstairs 'neighbor' was extremely rude and frequently banged on their ceiling around 8-9pm when we were getting our young child to bed. Instead of chatting with us they chose to be hostile and unwelcoming. Such a shame.... Overall, the community is nice and quiet and the amenities are nice. However, I would not stay at this condo again. Not for the price we paid and certainly not when you don't get the ground floor you wanted.
