Bethany West - 700 South Center Ct

We enjoyed our time at this place and our stay in Bethany. The home had many small, intentional visual touches that showed the owners care about the guest experience. The neighborhood is nice and quiet, but still close to everything.

The house was very nice, clean and comfortable.

Very central to everything downtown. Could walk to Wawa or walk downtown with no real problems.

This was our second stay within 7 months. The house was very clean, beds made, linens well supplied, and other items such as shampoo, etc. all ready to go. The location is great - mere minutes to the beach, Bethany boardwalk, inlet for fishing, etc. We have never stayed over the middle of summer, but folks doing that should be aware - the loft and upstairs bedroom are not separately temperature controlled, and I suspect they would be uncomfortably warm. For our purposes in October and May, however, it checks all the boxes, and I would definitely recommend.

This is a great vacation home, located mere minutes from the beach, the inlet and everything in Bethany. Upon check-in, it was clean, the beds were made, and all items such as shampoo, conditioner, paper towels, etc. were ready to go. Only a few small items kept the property from rating 5 stars - The top bunk in the bunk bedroom had neither a ladder nor a railing, so no child could sleep there. The dryer needs service - once it warms up, it develops a squeal that can be heard loudly throughout the whole house. The microwave often trips a breaker. The wifi was spotty. And the bedspread on the upstairs king bed needs replaced - all the stuffing has gathered in one side. These minor items can be easily fixed, and when they are, this is a 5-star house all day long. Definitely recommend!

This house is cozy/cute, great location, good parking, and great yard but it is poorly managed. It was not cleaned well. We had makeup on pillow cases and food crumbs. The outside trash cans were overflowing with trash from previous guests. There are no instructions to use TVs(each having 2 remotes). The refrigerator was in “demo” mode but there is no info to tell you this or how to change it. We just thought it did not work. Service call was not answered until the next day. This could have been avoided with instructions on the refrigerator. Hairdryer use in the front bedroom blew the circuit to the kitchen and refrigerator- no response received to this service call. The coffee maker pot lid is broken so you have to hold the pot up to depress the button for it to drain and not overflow - and yes, the whole time it’s brewing. Toilet paper was almost gone and only 1 extra roll for 2.5 bathrooms. The kitchen and downstairs bathroom are tight and I can’t imagine 11 people staying in this house (we had 6). The stairs getting into the house and stairs inside are VERY STEEP with short treads- dangerous for kids and elderly especially. If you’d like to spend the beginning of your stay trouble shooting the use of electronics, appliances, and circuit breakers, this is the place for you. Disappointing:(
