Bethany Bay - 3204 Harbor Dr

The place had a beautiful view. It was clean, but lacked enough basic supplies such as towels, toilet paper, tissues, extra blankets or pillows with pillow cases. It had very basic kitchen items.

Great view, but plenty of nicer units for rent at Bethany Bay.

This was a nice place when I first arrived but I grew to not like it. There was a strong Northeast wind and this place faces Northeast and the wind was whistling. The thermostat was tricky and despite trying many times, it kept defaulting to 80 degrees. I woke up very hot several nights. For me, traveling alone, it was too isolated out there and too far from the beaches.

The entire complex is beautiful-can’t beat the views from the back deck. The pool area is immaculate and everyone is super friendly. Close to food shopping, liquor stores, beaches, etc. would definitely go again.

Loved the location and view, was exactly what we wanted. Unfortunately, the unit was not cleaned to the standards I’m sure the owner expects and is paying for. When your teenage son voluntarily runs the vacuum cleaner you know it’s bad. There was not enough towels provided for four people to make it through the week. Wi-fi was unreliable and provided internet access sporadically at best. It’s unfortunate that these little things added up to an overall poor review, as they’re all easily remedied.

First, the numbers were impossible to read at night. It was made more difficult by the fact that all units were exactly alike. I have never seen so many rules. All were stated in the negative. The tv was impossible to operate. We tried to find the pool the night we moved in but due to trying to find our unit we completely missed. The thermostat was flashing that it needed a battery. There was ine pump soap container in the master bath but it was almost out of soap.
