Overview
Mallard Lakes is a community of townhomes on Lighthouse Road located approximately 2 miles from the ocean and town of Fenwick Island. 1, 2 and 3 bedrooms with 1.5 baths, screened or enclosed porches. Restaurants and shopping within close distance so you can relax and enjoy without driving. All Guest must register at pool office and pay $85 recreation/parking fee for up to 6 persons/$100 for up to 8 persons per week. Pool is open Memorial Day weekend to mid to late September. If pool is not open a $40 parking fee is required. No pets please. Smoking is not allowed at the pools. No trailer or boat parking allowed on premises.

The home was ready and clean, very convenient for all amenities. Fishing in lake only steps away from the Sun Room of the house. Definitely want to return, and highly recommend to others, as friends will be advised to apply.
It was sort of clean but there was dust everywhere and toilet paper was not replaced. my 12-year-old daughter was scared and refused to stay in the house for longer than the one night that we had to stay because we saw a concert so we stayed the night we arrived and left after the concert but, we scheduled to stay for two more days. I didnt get to take my daughter to the beach or Boardwalk or anything - ruined our only vacation of the year.
Im still bewildered at the twenty different agreements this listing expected me to have signed before arrival. Not even close to straightforward, and Vacasa tried upcharging me for fees I didn’t even need to pay.
Beyond bang for your buck. Great time. See you next year.
This place was very conveniently located and has a very pretty view of the ponds. However I was disappointed with the following.. 1. Bed comfort. 2. Ants in the kitchen 3. $85 to park 4. Only 2 vehicles allowed.
Location was convenient to OC and was off the main road in a quiet area with everything you need close by. We had 2 adult couples and the house was set up perfect for us. Beautiful sunroof and well stocked.
