Town of Bethany Beach - 222 Ocean View Pkwy is described as a great vacation home with plenty of space, flexible sleeping arrangements, and a comfortable layout that works well for groups and families. Guests appreciated the comfortable rooms, large bedrooms, multiple bathrooms and showers, and the fenced yard for added ease. The home is noted as very clean, well furnished, and thoughtfully equipped with plenty of towels and useful household features. Its kitchen and dining areas stood out for being especially well stocked with cooking supplies, dishes, and space for shared meals. Guests also valued the easy walking access to both the beach and downtown without crossing a major highway. Screened porches, outdoor showers, ample parking, and convenient laundry and streaming features added to the overall appeal.

THREE MASTER SUITES! Located just TWO blocks to the beach (on the ocean side of Route 1) and a stroll to downtown Bethany Beach's restaurants, shops and Boardwalk, this three-story 5-bedroom, 4-bath (plus two half baths) vacation getaway is a spacious base camp for your next beach adventure. The second floor features the living and dining area, well-equipped kitchen, half bathroom and a master suite, while the third level is home to a full bathroom and the three remaining bedrooms, including two additional master suites and a fun kids room (with two sets of bunk beds and lots of movies). Great vacation spaces continue outside too, with two screened porches, two decks and two outdoor showers and a backyard with gas grill. We very much enjoy renting this house year after year. We can walk to the beach and to downtown.

Rooms are comfortable, kitchen is well stocked, home is within walking distance of beach that does not require crossing a major highway (Rte. 1), ample parking, everything just worked for us. We had 7 children with the youngest being 4 and with the fenced back yard, had no concerns. The coffee maker could be replaced because it has a steel carafe and is a awkward to fill with water but it works fine. This is our 2nd consecutive year here - unfortunately, there won't be a 3rd year due to exorbitantly elevated rental cost. But there would be a 3rd consecutive year if it fit my budget.

Such a beautiful home, the kitchen had so many cooking supplies and dishes to use. The house was very clean and a very short walk to the beach. The house had a lot of bath rooms towels and rags for us to use as well.

As far as houses in Bethany Proper are concerned, this house is a bit more affordable than others in town, probably because it is on the corner of Oceanview and Route 1. However, the traffic noise is minimal and the house is well-shielded from the highway. This is the third year we have rented this house, and we appreciate the screened porches, the well-stocked kitchen, and the fact that the trolley drops us off right at the house! Normally, the house is pristine when we take possession. This year that wasn’t the case but we are assured that a better cleaning service will be in place for next year.

This is a great house and has everything we needed. Sleeping accommodations are flexible and comfortable. The kitchen has everything one could want for proposing meals. The location is on the ocean side of Rte 1 so easy walking distance for people even with two 3 yr olds. There are plenty of bathrooms and showers. The tv has Roku and several streaming services including Apple TV+. There’s several screened porches and the bedrooms are large. Also the washer & dryer were perfect for our families. The only concern was that it could have/should have been cleaner than it was. Spent a lot of time cleaning the kitchen counters and one of the upstairs bathrooms (I think it was missed entirely).
