You can’t beat the location or amenities. The beach is beautiful with the option to rent umbrellas and beach chairs. Be aware that there are many hidden fees (like a $55 per person resort fee during peak season) and even if you only stay for a weekend (Friday-Sunday), you pay for the whole week’s resort fee. I do think they should have a prorated fee for weekend-comers.
Condo and Sea Colony were enjoyable, but the condo needs some improvements. First, it needs a new coffee maker. The existing one is a hodgepodge of misc. parts and does not work well. Grounds got into every pot we made. Kitchen has no frying pans. Needs frying pans. Kitchen knives are horrendous. New knives needed. Balcony furniture and floor were dirty upon arrival. Had to do our own cleaning. And, there is no view of the beach or ocean from the third floor. Need to be on the 6th floor or higher for views. But Sea Colony, overall, was enjoyable with the private beach, the swimming pools and other amenities.
I love staying at Sea Colony for a long beach weekend. This place was great. Even though there is NO ocean view I knew that prior to booking. The king bed is super comfortable and the couches in the living room are as well. It was a very clean unit. Updated bathroom for the second bedroom. Overall great place to spend a weekend getaway at the beach!
Sea Colony in South Bethany is a great Ocean Front community. The condo did not have ocean views but was right there allowing easy access to and from the ocean, and the pools. We would go back.
Loved the easy access to beach, pool, and parking.
