The overall trip was great, the rooms were spacious and bright. It was just a little ways from the beach. There was team service that took you wherever you wanted to go so that was cool. There were a lot of pools which was really cool

I love when a rental has toys available for the kids. It makes it feel much more like a home away from home and made our stay more comfortable with 3 littles!

Upon checkin, we noticed a plethora of issues. This is not an exhaustive list: - a used qtip on the bathroom counter - a wooden board with nails attached - no pillows on the bed, they were on the floor or piled in the closet all without pillowcases. Stained and smelled. - dirty underwear, used tissues, and trash left between the twin bunk beds and the wall - pack&play half assembled and on the floor in the room - a full pot of coffee/coffee grounds left in the pot - under the pull out couch was a full spill of ice cream *pictures of everything have been submitted We checked in at 330 and were back in the office at 4. The manager we spoke with there was fantastic: apologetic and owned the failure. Offered us a refund on the cleaning fee AND (the and is very important here) $150 to go get dinner while they had housekeeping come clean the unit. We were fine with this solution and left hopeful. Came back to the unit at 8 pm to find that no one had come to clean. At that point there was no where for us to go and We were forced to sleep in an unclean and frankly, unsafe place. We were at the office when they opened at 9 am and spoke to another manager who was flustered, overwhelmed, and pretty unhelpful. Said that the cleaning crew would come that day but could not provide a time. We went to the beach and managed to have a good time despite the stress, but kept checking in with the text number who could not provide us with a time the cleaners would be arriving. This was extremely frustrating since we were traveling with little kids and we would’ve planned around the block of time we had to be out of the unit. We were not able to get groceries or unpack until 8 pm the second day. Around 4 when we were ready to go back and shower/change for dinner is when the cleaners showed up. We were tired and dirty at this point and unable to do anything but go to dinner in our beach clothes. We wanted some sort of rectification from the day and a half we were unable to be in our room. After talking to two more managers, which were very tense conversations where we made to feel like we were the problem, we were told the could give us an additional $300 for our troubles. So a total of $450 AND no cleaning fee. Fine, we took it and were appeased. *so now four different managers have told us “x amount of money AND no cleaning fee.” Well, when it came time to receive the refunds, we only saw $350 and no refund for the cleaning fee. When I emailed they did credit the remaining amount owed however I was told verbatim “The cleaning fee was addressed through the $150 dining credit that was provided, so there was not a separate cleaning fee refund in addition to that. At this time, the agreed-upon compensation has been issued, and no additional refunds will be provided.” As SC guests for over 15 years and with all of the pictures we sent in with the UNACCEPTABLE conditions we arrived to, you would think they would be more willing to make it right to retain us as guests.

We enjoyed are stay at Sea Colony. Liked having access to all the pools. Tram was a great way to get back and forth to the beach. Condo was cozy. Tucked away in the back of Sea Colony. Grandsons (12 and 8) loved the pond for fishing. Would recommend renting or bringing bikes to get around.

We loved the community and amenities here. The condo was spacious and comfortable after we purchased a few basic items.

The place itself was nice. However, small annoyances prevented 5-star review. Not one knife in the place was sharper than a spoon. They were literally unusable. The toilet in the master bath should be replaced. It backs up constantly. Also, one of the sliding doors to patio is almost unmovable. Owner needs to put some love and care into this small items to make for a stellar stay.
