This adorable cottage so close to the beach could be an immediate 5-star rating if the mattresses were comfortable. We could not sleep in either queen bed -- they were as hard as a rock. Also, the house is advertised as having a "fenced yard", however, the yard is not enclosed at the front. I felt it important to mention to potential renters that you cannot just let your dog out the back door. Also, the fencing between the yards is only knee high, so beware if your dog knows it could jump over (fortunately, my dog didn't realize she could). Overall, this would be a 5-star review for location, warmth, charm, modernity, and starter supplies. Upgraded mattresses and a way to close off the front fence would go a long way.

This rental was perfect for our two‑night getaway with our dog. The location is fantastic and made it so easy to get to the beach. We especially enjoyed relaxing on the screened‑in porch, and the kitchen had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Highly recommend.
