The condo could be nice, but is in need of general repair, especially the AC unit in the master bedroom that leaks a lot.

Cute place. Few minor issues that can be addressed

Michael, F2025-06-28

We recently stayed at this condo for a long weekend getaway and had a mostly positive experience. The unit was clean, well maintained, and thoughtfully stocked with everything needed for a short stay. The kitchen was especially impressive — well-appointed with newer appliances and plenty of space to prepare meals. The bedroom was spacious, with a comfortable mattress, extra pillows, and a generously sized closet that made unpacking and organizing easy. We appreciated the small touches like efficient A/C units and dimmable lighting, which made caring for our infant during middle-of-the-night wakeups much easier. The provided starter kit (dish soap, detergent, sponge, laundry pods, etc.) was more than enough for our trip, and a pleasant surprise. However, a few things held the experience back from being truly five stars. At night, the outdoor lights from the complex flooded the unit due to the lack of blackout curtains — only standard blinds are installed. We had to improvise by hanging beach towels over the rods just to get some sleep. The shower setup was also problematic, with water consistently leaking out onto the bathroom floor due to a low threshold and ineffective curtain. Noise was another issue — we could clearly hear our neighbors’ conversations well into the night, and road noise from nearby traffic was noticeable. The furniture also seemed a bit cheaply made; the TV console doors were not properly secured, which raised a safety concern with our crawling infant. The pull-out couch was quite firm and likely wouldn’t be comfortable for most people. Finally, there were several automatic air fresheners placed throughout the unit, which seemed to be masking odors — possibly from the A/C units. What would have made this a 5-star stay:     •    Blackout curtains on all windows     •    Coffee provided for the coffee pot     •    Maintenance attention to furniture for safety and functionality     •    Elimination of artificial air fresheners (and no odors to mask) Tips for future guests:     •    Bring an eye mask and white noise machine or ear plugs for sleeping     •    Be prepared to drive and pay for parking at most destinations nearby     •    Allow extra time when leaving the complex, as traffic can get backed up Despite a few drawbacks, this condo has great potential and would be an excellent choice with a few thoughtful updates. We’d consider staying again with some of these improvements in place.
