Town of Dewey Beach - 12 Seastrand Ct.

Location, nice layout, well equipped.

It was nice with the location of the beach and being able to just walk out the back door. But the bed frame in one of the rooms was broken and not repaired during our stay, the WiFi didn’t work and the screens on the back door and front door are horrible (didn’t stay close and are very hard to close)

Our stay was wonderful with two small children. The amenities were thoughtful to say the least. Beach chairs, umbrellas, coffee makers, stick vacuum, towels linens, all of wonderful quality and provided for you and your stay. Just step out the front door to the beach. The neighbors were so friendly and welcoming too. We look forward to visiting again.

Our families had a delightful 5-night stay at this wonderful beachfront townhouse. The house is newly renovated, with excellent amenities and is absolutely great for kids, who can easily walk back and forth from the beach. We were able to use beach umbrellas, chairs and boogie boards from the outdoor closet. The kitchen is new and well-stocked with knives, cookware and plates. We never ran out of dishes and cooked all our dinners in-house. There also 2 fridge-freezers which was great for all our food and drinks. There are 4 bedrooms, one of which is den-like space and perfect for 2+ kids. There is a beautiful master king room with a balcony. Two third floor bedrooms are connected so one must walk through the smaller room to get to the stairs. A huge plus: the ocean is visible from all 3 floors and especially pretty from the third floor balcony. There are TVs in most rooms (at least 3) and the AV system on the first floor is top-notch (Sonos audio, large smart TV). You can sign in to the TV apps for streaming. We brought our Apple TV for ease of use to stream Olympics and mirror content from our phones. The air conditioning works very well from minisplits in each room. Bathrooms: 1 full on each of upper floors and powder room on first floor. We used the laundry, which is just off the back room on first floor. Check-in and Check-out was very easy via lockbox. Overall, it was a fantastic stay that exceeded our expectations and we look forward to visiting again next summer. Some notes: as pointed out by another reviewer we brought extra toilet paper, paper towels and kitchen trash bags which ran out early in the stay. Recommend bringing coffee grounds for the small coffee maker or buying nespresso vertuo pods for the machine available.

This property was great! The updated townhouse was spacious, clean and comfortable. And you can't beat having the ocean just steps away! Plenty of towels were provided for showering, as well as shampoo, conditioner and bodywash which was a plesent surprise. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with almost everything you'd need to cook a dinner in. I'd definitely recommend this property to others. The only complaint is that the pricing for next year for the same week has increased almost $5K over what we paid this year.

Our family simply loved this vacation home! As can be seen in the listing online, the home has lovely views of the ocean from various locations throughout, and one hears the ocean as soon as any of the back doors are opened. The beds were very comfortable, and I especially enjoyed the creativity shown in the powder room, what with the use of a multitude of New Yorker Magazine covers. I really appreciated the quieter beach atmosphere available to us (while being a five-minute drive to Rehoboth for rides/arcades/shops/restaurants, etc.), as well as the opportunity to savor the contagious enthusiasm of the various canine guests frolicking about on the sand and in the sea. Neighbors I met, who I understand are primarily owners, were welcoming/friendly, but very respectful of our privacy. Sitting on the back decks was also a delight at night - I was pleased to have a nice slice of starry skies to accompany the unceasing, soothing sounds of the ocean. I highly recommend this vacation home!
