The Tides - 19967 Sandy Bottom Cir, Unit #107

This home far exceeded our expectations! It was a last minute booking & couldn’t be happier we booked! Everything you need is available, including a plethora of towels & even hideaway bed! The pool/Hot tub are amazing! Can actually walk/bike to beach about 2 miles.Plenty of parking, laundry right there, back patio was so nice to have! Plenty of stores, restaurants, grocery store all within walking distance. Thank you for the memories!

It’s a nice size property however, the property was not clean. The tubs had scum in them. The shower door was broken. There was no light in the laundry room. The dryer did not dry the clothing. The kitchen was not fully equipped with coffee cups plates, etc. there was no vacuum to clean up sand off the floor when you return from the beach it was disappointing. This was our second year. We will not be returning. The location is great if you’re willing to put up with an unkept place.

I want to start by saying this property has REAL potential, but unfortunately is being run by poor management. It’s in a great location and a quiet community. You can tell that it isn’t cared for by the owner. The dining room light had a piece hanging from the top, exposing the wires and there were giant / obvious holes in the master closet that could be easily covered by a painting, but instead shows there was an issue at some point that may or may not be fixed. I reached out as soon as we arrived to let the owner / host know that there were visible crumbs / hair on the kitchen counter tops, crumbs on the table and dirty silverware, knives in the knife block and other utensils in the drawer. It was disappointing that we paid so much for the weekend stay in "fees" ($500+), yet the place was not clean in places that really matter…. They responded with “I apologize and I will let the local team know”, but nothing was ever done to resolve the matter. I mentioned to them I couldn’t find any cleaner to clean the counter tops and they once again responded with a similar response. No one reached out to me and when I asked if there was a resolution, they still did nothing, but ask if they could assist me with anything else and ask me for a review… so here it is. As much as it is a quiet community in a PERFECT location, I wouldn’t stay here again, nor would I tell my friends and family to. The lack of cleanliness was such a turn off and the fact that NOTHING was done to resolve this, not even a friendly call from the host was the final decider for me. Not to mention, the air conditioner is VERY loud and hard to ignore.

Location and comfort

I think this is one of the cleanest homes I’ve rented in a long time. Furniture was comfortable. Both bedrooms nice and clean. Location right in the middle of everything. There wasn’t one thing I didn’t like about this place. Would rent again.
