Amber Lake Retreat

Plan your next boating or fishing getaway at this beautiful, riverfront cabin in Lac du Flambeau. Set on a quiet river that serves very few homes, this peaceful retreat features a gorgeous, open interior with knotty pine walls and ceilings, rustic, handcrafted furnishings, and plenty of desirable amenities to ensure the utmost comfort for you and your guests. Whip up everyone's favorite recipes in the well-equipped, full kitchen complete with a breakfast bar for casual dining. Gather around the table for six for mealtimes or family game nights, or indulge in an al fresco experience with a view from the screened, three-season porch. Close out your evenings by warming up in the glow of your wood stove while you relax. Outdoors, borrow one of the provided kayaks and head out on the water from the 125-foot dock, return home and fire up the gas grill for summertime cookouts, and then meet up at the firepit to roast s'mores and watch the stars come out. Please be aware this is a strict "no pet" home! The family who owns this beautiful cabin and loves to stay occasionally, has SEVERE allergies to pet fur/dander. Although we love furry pets, we want to make this a wonderful home for all, family and visitors alike - so please NO PETS! If you have a trained service dog or "support dog" you MUST bring, hopefully it would only be hypoallergenic, but either way- please make every attempt to rid this house of any sign of an animal. The home will need extra cleaning so that we will not experience an allergic reaction! We love to share our beautiful cabin in the woods and want to make this a great experience for all equally! THINGS TO KNOW Double sofa bed included. Full kitchen (no dishwasher). Two kayaks and accessories available upon request. A 4x4 or equivalent is recommended in winter. This property is managed by VueStay Vacations. *The public boat launch on Amber Lake is on West Amber Lake Road. From the boat launch, renters would proceed north along the western shore to Amber Creek which meanders approx. 3/4's of a mile to the property
