This house was perfect for six adults on a long weekend to cross-country ski. The location was perfect. The house was a very comfortable size and well stocked for our needs. The bath towels and bedsheets were good quality! The house was clean and the communication was excellent and very speedy responses. Would stay here again for sure!!

Our goal was to ride the Mercer-to-Boulder Junction segment of the Heart of Vilas Bike Trail. You couldn’t find a better location as the (wonderful) trail goes right across the front of the property. The house was clean with a very nice kitchen. We loved having fires in the fire pit in the yard. Although it wasn’t a big deal to us, the house is dark inside due to all the trees and was a little musty in the lower level, where two of the smaller bedrooms are located. Could benefit from a dehumidifier in the summer. If you prefer smooth/soft sheets you should consider bringing them from home. Vacasa standardizes their bedding across all their properties and I found their sheets to be rough and scratchy. The beds themselves are comfortable. The streaming services work well for the area. There are nice restaurants and a good grocery store just a minute or two away.
