The cabin was rebuilt as of 2021 and is very well maintained. Location next to public boat landing is a plus for ease of boat launch. One of the two docks is very new and perfect for relaxing to watch the sunrise. The other is older, but still in good contition and works for securing boats next to the shore.
This was our second stay at this home and we had a great experience. It snowed the entire time and it was fun watching everyone ice fishing on the lake. Love the fireplace and the home stays nice and cozy. The kitchen is big and well appointed, perfect for cooking at home. Love the washer and dryer, the showers are great, the beds are super comfy and everything was perfect!
We had some hiccups along the way. The corporate team was responsive but it seemed like the local team was MIA most of the time. We arrived to an uncleaned house and it took the local team until 3:30 the next afternoon to send someone out. The corporate team did issue a refund which more than made up the inconvenience but we did have to do a lot of cleaning, change sheets and pretty much live in previous renter use over night. The location was great, very quiet and walkable. Lots of space and the kitchen was amazing with tons of pantry space. We watched tv, played games, loved having the on-site laundry, and cooked some amazing meals. The living room rug smelled like dog pee from previous renters and made it really hard to spend time there which sucked because we stayed for 2 weeks. Overall the house is nice and we mostly enjoyed our stay. Just an FYI, the trash cans are located in the boat house garage.
