Just a little further up the road, you can indulge in thrilling rides down the slopes at Camp 10 Ski Area. Right at your stay, you'll have access to kayaks, a gas grill, and a firepit.

Adorned with hardwood finishes and comfortable furnishings, the interior of the Northwoods Resort is a place of pure peace. Settle down in front of the Smart TV in the living room for downtime. Or, head to the furnished screened porch, where you can relax and take in stunning views of the Northwoods. My partner and I stayed here for a long weekend and it was the perfect fall getaway! The house was very clean and cozy. The views outside were beautiful and we got to watch some deer in the yard. It’s very close by to hikes, bike trails, and restaurants. 10/10 would stay again :)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Quiet mornings on the screened in porch with coffee listening to the sounds of nature while overlooking the lake. Close to town where we found wonderful places to eat- The Boathouse, Lida’s, Our Place Cafe, Bad Bones BBQ! Kurt’s Island Sport Shop where we hired Kurt to guide us fishing one afternoon! Must do! Went to mass Sunday morning at Holy Family Catholic Church. Beautiful! Bearskin Trail for e-bikes! So much to see and do here. The cabin in the woods by the lake was amazing. We saw an owl right outside our door and deer every day. We enjoyed watching movies at night and started putting a puzzle together at the table. Can’t say enough about this place. Thank you!

Layout of the house and furnishings were ok but dated. Once an attractive property, now has an air of neglect. The place needs new windows and some tlc.

As a long-time summer visitor to this part of the country and building construction realities, house has no outside ventilation (bath fans vent in to attic) and no means of moving air through the few windows (less than half) with intact screens. Property was built to be used Fall-Winter-Spring, NOT summer. Owners should be ashamed they rent without making it clear it will be 80 DEGREES inside all night long in summer months. Even when temps dipped in to the high 60s, the internal temperature was still near 80. Owners have made it appear this is a "family" home - it isn't, it's simply a source of extra income furnished with thrift store furnishings. Do not be fooled - owners should not offer for rental in summer months, period.

This property is nicely decorated in Northwoods. It is roomy, and has an amazing screen porch that looks out on the lake. Ceiling fans help move the air on hot days. It is well stocked for a wonderful vacation! We caught lots of fish off the dock and in area lakes. Loved this property and will be back!
