The view was nice.
Part of me doesn't even want to leave a good review because I want to make sure there are weeks for us to still rent this place! It was absolutely perfect. It felt like a home. Everything was new and fresh and the lake was beautiful! When you were in the kitchen and family room cooking or playing games, you felt like you were out on the water. You can truly tell that the owner has gone above and beyond to make their guests feel welcome. From the down comforters to the lights in the closet that turned on when you walked in the door. Every attention to detail was meant. We truly enjoyed our stay and can't wait to come back.
Beautiful home recently remodeled with all new quality appliances. Home met all our needs. Spacious rooms and beautiful bathrooms
The home and location are absolutely lovely, offering a peaceful lakeside retreat. The updates to the home are spectacular, with a thoughtfully designed floor plan that provides plenty of space to spread out. The small details were a nice touch—singing along to albums on the record player created great memories and filled our stay with laughter. However, if you’re planning to spend a lot of time in the water, we strongly recommend taking precautions against Swimmer’s Itch. We arrived late on Saturday and didn’t have time to swim before sunset. By Sunday morning, we were eager to enjoy the lake, but unfortunately, that was the only swim we had during our entire trip. We all ended up with Swimmer’s Itch. Seven days later, we’re finally starting to feel some relief, with today being the first day we didn’t need to slather on Calihist lotion. While the house and setting were truly wonderful, the issue with Swimmer’s Itch really took away from what was supposed to be a relaxing lakeside getaway.
Nicest place we have ever stayed in the north woods. Large, light, well furnished and well decorated Everything worked. Lake was beautiful. Also everything worked well for our dog. Far enough away from the road that cars were not a concern. Only concern is that the hill to the lake is a little steep; we had to keep our dog away from it. I think it says it all that we booked for next year before we even checked out
Very nice home for our stay in the Minocqua area. Home had everything we needed. Private wooded area, yet within 10-15 minutes of restaurants and stores.
