The lake was private and we found ourselves the only ones on the lake for two days. Only saw two boats on the water over 3 days. Very hard to find that in peak months. Plenty of fish right from the pier if you have young ones who get bored waiting to catch something. No problem catching fish. The water was what you would think of for an "up north" Wisconsin lake. The only thing I would make aware of is if your going in the hot months the house gets very warm. We had a portable a/c unit, so it wasn't that bad for us. The house was a little difficult to find, all gravel narrow roads. All in all due to the lack of other people around it was great.
The jacuzzi was very nice. It was in a great location. Very pretty view of the lake.
Pro: very close to the trail. Con: all the trails in and out of the area are back roads or logging roads.
Very quiet
The cabin was very cozy and comfortable. It was a relaxing stay with lovely fall colors to enjoy.
The clear cool lake is wonderful.. Hours were spent paddling the canoe n kayak and also sitting on the dock.. The view from the deck into the woods and out onto the lake was breathtaking... Used the telescope to look at our Moon and Saturn.. The hot tub was relaxing.. Hope to make it back again in the future..
