We have stayed here multiple times now. They have continued to update the cabin the last few years. This is a great property
Great property located on a quiet lake. Large kitchen and great 4 seasons room.
Very quiet and tranquil. Much needed week away from everything
Peaceful. Private. Comfortable.
Honestly, I don’t want to post this review because I want to keep this gem to ourselves. We had a wonderful 6-night stay and had everything we needed. The property was clean, well-maintained, situated on a small-ish but clear lake, and amenities and room was plentiful for a family of 4 with two dogs. Another couple with 4 kids could have easily stayed with us without getting too cramped. The outdoor amenities were wonderful, with a fire ring, Adirondack chairs, extra folding chairs, a breakfast nook on the porch, several places to sit and eat in the sunroom and kitchen, and an upstairs loft with four twin beds. There are three bedrooms, two of them with an en suite, another bathroom with a shower, and a full living area downstairs. We never felt like we were on top of each other, and the freshly remodeled kitchen had top-notch appliances. There is a boat dock, which we made use of with a pontoon we rented nearby. We also kayaked the small lobe of the lake nearby. The water is calm and clean. We went fishing and caught a few bluegill (though honestly we didn’t try very hard for much else). The lake is quieter than some of the others nearby but can get cramped when jet skis and speedboats cruise by because it’s not really a lake that is large enough for these types of boats to go full speed for very long without cascading waves to fishing boats nearby. The only downside was the spotty and unreliable WiFi, but we were always able to watch a movie from the streaming service on the TV in the main living room every evening, with only a couple interruptions. We’re going to try booking again next year, though the Vacasa fees are starting to get a little high, which is the other downside. Other than that, this property is the best we’ve seen in the area, and we’ve been coming up and renting every year for the last four years since our family sold our property in nearby west clear lake. This place definitely felt more like home than the others, and we’ll try to be back. Lastly, a shout out and thank you to Vacasa staff (Dakota) for promptly coming by to fix a water heater issue (it was turned down too low when we arrived) and maintaining a sparkling, spotless property and answering all of our questions.
2nd year coming here and this property is beautiful. They continue to improve the overall property. This year they have redone the path to the lake and it's beautiful. We'll be back again.
