We had a group of nine for an ice fishing trip, and the house provided plenty of sleeping space and four bathrooms, which worked well for our group. There was lots of room overall. The temperature in the home wasn’t very well balanced, though — the downstairs was quite warm while the upstairs stayed fairly cold. During our stay, the sidewalk and driveway became very slippery. I contacted customer service and they responded quickly, but the fix only partially helped. The driveway was still slick, and we had some trouble getting vehicles and trailers out when we left. There’s no direct access to the lake from the property for snowmobiles, so we had to drive a ways to get onto the ice. Not a deal breaker, but it would have been helpful to confirm that ahead of time. I didn’t see an easy way to ask questions like that through the website. There is a decent amount of parking, but not much room to turn around with trailers. Overall, we had a good trip, but I’m not sure this rental is the best option for winter activities.

Lake access! The path/stairs to the dock were easy to use. The view was beautiful!! Sandy lake bottom was really nice. Plenty of room in the house. Everything was comfortable!

We love this property, from the spacious open great and dining rooms, to the well equipped kitchen, to the numerous comfortable beds, to the location on the chain of lakes, and its proximity to Eagle Waters Resort. We hope to keep coming back!

Finding a water-front rental home with a "swimmable" dock/beach for the kids in Northern WI that is relatively affordable is becoming more and more difficult. So while this property could use a refresh - it's location is ideal for a family gathering, the outdoor amenities are excellent, including a very "swimmable" lakefront and dock that my kids and dogs loved, and the price is still more reasonable than most other similarly situated lake-front properties. So, if your priorities are being outside around a nice fire pit, sitting on the dock watching beautiful sunsets, swimming on a sandy bottom lake... this is your spot. Note - be careful on the front porch. The light was out the first night we arrived and one of our guests missed a step and ended up breaking her ankle. I would recommend the owner install a porch railing as there's a small, but decent drop off the side of the porch with no railing if you misstep.
