Great property—very clean and spacious. There were plenty of dishes in the kitchen, lots of board games for the kids, and more than enough towels. We had a comfortable stay.
A beautiful home on a wonderful Lake with a great view! Our group had 14 people, six couples and one single, and we all felt as though we had our private space but could be social. The rooms seemed as though they were well insulated and you couldn't hear the couples next to you ;-)
The size of the house with the bedroom location and bathrooms was a plus. Mattresses need to be replaced. The playset was good for younger kids - an infant swing would be nice. The size of the kitchen and added eating area is a plus. Needs to have kid friendly dishware as well as updated pots and pan. The common area was well used. Some of the games provided have missing items which impacts play. The yard is great, with a lovely view. The shoreline is in need of attention to clean up the seaweed and lilypads that impede use of the shore. The parking was good as it did fit the 6 vehicles as stated- note that the drive is a bit steep.
Great location & good access to the chain of lakes! We were so very excited for this rental and the easy access to the beach and lake; but, unfortunately, we found goose poop all over the yard and dock. Then spent time cleaning the dock of the goose poop so we could use it right away. Also, we had to clean the beach and swimming area from some of the weeds to make it somewhat usable. We did rent a pontoon which gave us more options for swimming out further in the lake. We did make a request to the host/management company about the goose poop and they did send someone out to clean the dock and yard for each day of our stay thereafter. The common area was perfect to gather together. The number of bedrooms and beds were great, although some of the beds were not as comfortable. The kitchen was large and had good seating for meals and playing cards, but did not have enough kitchen supplies. So glad we brought our own cast iron pans, skillets, Dutch oven, sheet pans and mixing bowls as the options stocked were very lacking. Could use more non plastic prep, mixing & serving bowls as well as more sturdy tongs and spatulas. We enjoyed our stay, but were definitely disappointed in the lack of upkeep for the high price paid per night. It would’ve been even better had the property been more updated and maintained for us to relax and enjoy.
Everything, other than the beds, was great! Great location, great house, and it was clean. The beds though.... ufff... You could tell they were all quite old and everyone said they were not that comfortable.
Location is great. Room for 4 boats at the dock. The shoreline is completely full of weeds. The upstairs rooms are hot. Bring your own additional fans.
