Space of room, location to resort and elevators, dont have to check into registration but code to room is forever long, room was stocked with what u need

Jacuzzi in room was the best feature

I’m honestly conflicted about this place because I want to like it. To start positive, it was a good amount of space for two families (4 adults, two tweens). The unit appears to be mixed in with Chula Vista resort rooms and other rental condos. There doesn’t appear to be a clear divide between where the resort ends and rentals begin. As the listing mentioned, it does not come with waterpark access, but the smaller resort/hotel pools appeared open to us. The presence of a jacuzzi in the middle of a living room of a *two bedroom suite* is perplexing to us (because… why?) but it wasn’t a deal breaker for us. That being said, there are some notable issues with the unit. King mattress is badly stained, sofa bed has stains, carpet has stains, lampshade appears to be crumbling, and the easy chair cushion is deflated. If you plan on using the kitchen, I would encourage you to just bring your own pots/pans and utensils. Like the July2025 review mentioned, the cookware needs some help. First, there are an odd assortment of small pots and pans, no stockpot, which complicated our plans to make pasta. Second, the dishes are gross. Even if we were interested in using the jacuzzi, I would not have done so based on the cleanliness conditions mentioned above. The cleaning is clearly not thorough. There are also no cleaning supplies except for a dobie sponge and sad bottle of dollar store dish detergent. We had to get paper towels and garbage bags, because there were none. That owners of this unit appear to be an off-site company, and as such, communication with them was (at best) confusing. For example, the listing says that there’s a washer and dryer in unit, and this was a big selling point for us. They even say in their communication that it’s helpful if we start a load of laundry on the way out. But there was no washer and dryer. There is a larger locked closet/room off the kitchen, which *might* have a washer and dryer (and maybe other cleaning supplies???)… but we will never know because no key was left for us. (This was reported at check in, and they never got back to us about that.) They were also unable to address basic questions like directing us to the parking passes that were mentioned in the listing or where we could find a garbage chute. (It turns out no passes are needed, and we just ended up leaving our bags of garbage in the hall for maintenance.) When there was a problem with our lock (which had an unusually long code), I got a troubleshooting call from Oregon. It appears that local help is not available. If you do decide to rent this location, go into it with low expectations, and: - Know you will have difficulty finding a luggage cart between 6-10am and 3-9pm. (Check other floors - everyone just seems to leave them in the hall.) - Pack all food, condiments, spices, napkins napkins, paper plates, etc. There is nothing food-wise in the unit except a little 2-cup hotel coffee maker and coffee packets. (Not even salt.)

Condo was just what we needed as 1st time travelers with children. Plenty space, with the right accommodations.

This place is dated sure but clean and still great for anyone’s stay. The only thing was a few dirty pans but we washed them and all was well. The main blankets in the beds are old so if you can’t stand that then just bring your own. We had a great time and this property was more than expected!
