Guests appreciated the comfortable and well-furnished interior, the roomy loft and great room, the welcoming cabin-style decor, and the sense of being a true home away from home. The property was also praised for being clean, with very clean kitchen and bathroom areas and a well-kept overall feel. Its peaceful wooded setting offers a quiet, secluded retreat while still being conveniently close to the Dells and the highway. The screened porch, fire pit, kayaks, canoe, stocked kitchen and bathrooms, nice appliances, blankets, and strong communication around the stay all added to the positive experience.

This log cabin gives guests direct access to the Wisconsin River and boasts modern appliances and quality furnishings. Gather in the living room after a fun-filled day at the river. Prepare meals together in the well-appointed kitchen that features stainless steel appliances. Dine at the table fit for four, at the breakfast bar, or dine alfresco at the picnic table in the backyard. Each bedroom has been uniquely outfitted with your comfort in mind. A loft features two beds and a desk workspace, offering an additional sleeping space for your group as well as somewhere to work or study from. A Pack 'n Play is also available if needed. There is so much to enjoy outside. Lounge on the spacious deck and soak up the sun while reading a good book. Make use of the complimentary canoe and kayaks to have fun adventures on the river. Lifejackets are also available to ensure water safety. At night, gather around the firepit and stargaze. It is the perfect spot to make memories. THINGS TO KNOW This home does not have internet. The fireplace is not for guest use. Canoes are available from Memorial Day to October. Kayaks are available from Memorial Day through September. This property is managed by VueStay Vacations.

The cabin is beautiful but it is hard to tell as the amount of dust and cobwebs indicated it has not truly been cleaned in months. The amount of flies in the house was horrible. We had to go buy fly swatters and strips to eliminate the flies as they congregated on our food as we were making it. The kitchen utensils and tools need to be thrown out and replaced. Please provide kitchen towels and hot pads as we had to use bath tools for drying dishes and removing pans from the oven. The setting and the bones of the cabin are beautiful it is very unfortunate that the cabin is not being maintained better as we could see ourselves coming back but there were too many negatives for that to actually happen.

This cabin is in a perfect setting - in the woods and right on the river. Some of the living room furniture is shabby and uncomfortable. If you plan to cook, bring your own frying pans and cooking utensils because the ones provided need to be thrown away and replaced. Would probably stay here again, but only because of the location.
