The Sanctuary - Crab Dip B118

We stayed here over Christmas week. The place was clean but had a horrific smell coming from the garbage disposal. After running it several times with hot water and dish soap we finally had to go buy bleach to rid the smell. It was rank. The place was hardly decorated and not very homey. Beds were not comfortable. They had thin foam mattress on platform beds in second bedroom that were terribly uncomfortable. Location is not great, at the end of a 5 mile road with nothing around. They only give you one towel per person and one roll of toilet paper per bathroom for a whole weeks stay. Never have I stayed at a rental that is so poorly stocked. Who wants to do laundry during vacation just so you have bath towels. This does not appear to be personally owned but more corporate as there are no personal touches at all. Would not recommend.

Very spacious unit! Kid friendly with easy pool access. Well stocked kitchen and full size laundry. Great location with easy access to Back Bay Refuge area and False Cape State Park.

Perfect for dodging the busy beach crowd and just relaxing for the week, but still close enough to eat out every night without too much travel.

Our family enjoyed staying at Crab Dip. The room and furnishings were beautiful and pool access was very convenient. We also appreciated the garage storage space for our beach gear. The room was very clean upon check in. Access via the closest stairs to the beach was very convenient.

It did take some time to understand the parking situation and where to park but once this was figured out our stay was great! The home was well stocked in the kitchen with everything we needed to make meals plus the home was convenient to the pools. The short walk to the beach was a plus! Very nice place. Clean and would recommend if you are looking for a quiet getaway.

Loved the area…. Visiting family in the area so location great for us. Loved pool and beach access.
