Overview

Entertain a crowd of your nearest and dearest at this home in the Sandbridge neighborhood of Virginia Beach, where you'll be right across the street from a beach access point and have a private backyard swimming pool and cabana to come home to each afternoon. This home was designed for relaxation, with two levels of decks on both the front and rear of the house, an expansive pool terrace with lounge chairs and a gas grill, and a covered cabana with a TV, beverage fridge, and bar seating. Inside, each of the three levels has its own central gathering space - a billiard room (with a TV and refrigerator) on the first floor, a great room (with cozy seating, a TV, and a gas fireplace) on the second floor, and a movie nook (with an ocean view, a TV, and a coffee station) on the third floor. The main (second) floor is also home to a beautiful kitchen with double ovens and dishwashers, a wrap-around breakfast bar for seven, and a pair of long dining tables to seat the entire crew at mealtime. When it's time to turn in for the evening, you'll find eight bedrooms spread out among the three floors. There are two bedrooms with en suite bathrooms on the main floor, three bedrooms with en suite bathrooms on the third floor, and three more bedrooms - one with an en suite bathroom - on the lower level. Additional features include TVs in every bedroom, a laundry room with two high-efficiency washer/dryers, central air-conditioning, free WiFi with a speed of 500 Mbps, a ramp that leads to the first-level door, and an in-home elevator that connects to the two upper floors. THINGS TO KNOW For your safety and security, the home is equipped with two exterior cameras—one located on the upper deck facing the front door and another mounted beneath the deck facing the driveway. A ramp leads to the first-level door and an elevator connects to the two upper floors. The pool will be open from late April through early/mid-October.

The house was nice very clean. The layout was nice and accommodating. We did have an issue with the AC which was not working properly. We opened the windows which helped; however it was very uncomfortable at night reaching temperatures of 83 degrees. Fortunately this did not occur during the summer months. We called for service on Sunday afternoon; however the office was unable to get a response from an HVAC contractor. Some of the pots and pans were in poor condition . The beds were excellent. All of the guests raved about how comfortable they were with the exception of the twin bunks. We liked the house and would have given it five stars were it not for the AC issue.

The house had more than enough space. Guests loved it. Had a small issue with sediment in the pipes which effected the water pressure, but was fixed IMMEDIATELY! We are already planning to come back. The beach was beautiful too!

We loved how big the home was and our kids loved the elevator. The mattresses were also super comfortable on the main floor. Great experience overall.

The home is in a great location and the walk to the beach takes virtually no time. The beach this home is located along is wide and had hardly anyone else there. The home is nicely decorated. There doesn't seem to be a true primary bedroom, which would be nice if you are splitting the cost of the rental with others. The couch in the living room is incredibly comfortable. The gas fireplace is listed as an amenity, however, it has a sign stating that it isn't for guest use. The water pressure is very inconsistent from room to room due to mineral buildup on some faucets. Also, some of the showers don't drain properly. While we were there it rained for a few hours and the road outside the house was flooded with several inches of water which didn't drain away for days, this made it difficult to get across the road to the beach.

The house is HUGE. Gigantic well, equipped kitchen and living space, with plenty of seating. Outdoorspace is beautiful, too.
