Bayside Bungalow

The home was large enough to accommodate our family and was close to the beach. The home could use some major updates; areas that need painting and decks that need repairs as well as some areas of carpeting that are worn.

I loved the layout of the home, the views and the location is nice, it’s quiet. Neighbors are wonderful here and will interact if you wish but will not be nosy. Extremely comfortable stay that had all 10 of us saying we plan to come back!!!

Great location and awesome backyard for the pups. There is a gap under the deck and fence on the back side of the yard by the canal. Our smallest and oldest dog found the gap and was “lost” for a moment. Found her and all was well. We blocked off the deck area and no major re issues. House has plenty of room and bathrooms for everyone to be comfortable. Would definitely rebook this home.

Bayside Bungalow was a perfect getaway house. Less than 10 minutes walk to the beach, you could hear the waves sitting in the backyard or back decks. We took our dog for a long morning walk on the beach and on walks through the neighborhood in the evening. The photos of the house were accurate. We did notice that you could feel the house moving with the strong wind. The pool is a good size but unheated, so we only dangled our legs in the pool after getting out of the hot tub. The TVs and wifi all worked although we noticed a bluish tint on the living room TV; the TV in the primary bedroom was fine. We loved having our dog with us; the blankets in the living room so she could sit on the couch with us as well as the dog dishes and bed in the living room were appreciated. The mattress in the primary bedroom was firm but comfortable. I really appreciated all the labels on the light switches. The kitchen was stocked with the basics. We didn't bring much food with us as we went grocery shopping after we got there. I did bring extra toilet paper and paper towels, but since it was just us two we didn't need it. The outdoor shower was great. We used the hose on the side of the house to wash off the sand from the beach before going into the house. We would stay here again and it would work well for a multi-family trip we are planning.

Good location on back bay and close to the beach. Needs some TLC with updates on outdoor furniture and deck near pool. Overall nice stay

The house is nothing like the picture. The decking is chipped and splintering. Two people of our party got splinters in their foot from it. The brush/bushes are overgrowing all over the back yard. There was thorny vines all over the lounge chairs. The house needs some major updating/painting. The walls/handrails coming up the steps were black. There was some outlets that did not work and one of the air conditioners went out, but I spoke with guest services and they quickly came to repair them. The pool has a bubble in the liner on the bottom and possibly a slow leak. Had to put water in it every day. Also the pool light is burnt out and the secondary ladder was not in there, my MIL had a hard time getting out on the walk in stairs cause there is no handy cap rail. The sliding glass door to go to the pool barely opens and the decking underneath on the stairs is starting to rot away. Overall not happy with the house, should really update the listing with current pictures of the outside because it was not at all what it looked like. The location was what we were after plus it was dog friendly. with some major renovations the house would easily be 5 stars.
