A beautiful Cape Cod setting awaits at this spacious, three-story home tucked into the trees of Centerville. In this lovely spot, you'll be just over half a mile from Covell's Beach, one mile from Craigville Beach, and a quick drive or bike ride from the heart of Hyannis Port. This three-bedroom home brings an airy brightness to classic Cape Cod style. There are plentiful outdoor spaces to greet you upon your return from the beach each day, including a terraced yard, a large front deck, a side deck with a gas grill and a dining set for summer barbecues, and an upper balcony that sits among the treetops. Rinse off any lingering sand in the outdoor shower and step inside to find central AC, a washer/dryer for your swimsuits, and an inviting living space on the middle of the three floors. To one side of this living space is a polished, eat-in kitchen with stainless steel appliances, an island breakfast bar, and a table with built-in bench seating. To the other is a light-filled family room with a comfortable sofa, a streaming-capable TV, and a sitting area by the window. A second, more casual lounge space awaits downstairs in the bonus room, which includes another TV, a second refrigerator, and ample space for kids to play. THINGS TO KNOW All three bedrooms are upstairs on the third floor.

Beautiful home with loads of extras to make you comfortable. Super clean, and entire home was family friendly. One note: door lock (main) needs to be addressed - we left with the door fully locked numerous days only to return to it unlocked.

It was a nice enough house. But three drawbacks. First, despite what the description says, the A/C was NOT central. It was an add on unit on two floors and we had to keep the master bedroom door open to try to get the A/C in to the other two bedrooms. We got there on a hot afternoon and it took all night to cool down. Besides that it wasn’t even hooked up properly when we got there and we had to call the center to have them call the local guy to get it fixed. An unnecessary hassle. Second, there was no beach pass. The beach was a town resident only parking lot and although you could walk there, to go for the day with the kids and all your gear required us to shuttle our stuff down and then drive the car back and have the driver walk back. We found out that a landlord pass was issued by other owners and for the amount that we were charged for the rental, $475 is a small amount for a seasonal pass. Big drawback for a house advertised as a beach house. Third, the house requires a lot of stair climbing. If you are older or have limited mobility there’s no way you can navigate that house. We had no problem but we would never be able to rent it again with our older parents. For what was charged for the week, those issues were not what we expected.

The house was exactly as described and easily accommodated our family of five with tons of room to spare. The kids area and game room in the basement would definitely a bonus, and we all made a lot of use of the outdoor shower. The facilities provided were wonderful, the linen was fresh, and the beds were all comfortable. The checking in and checking out process was extremely easy.
