Overview
Beautifully situated with a 180-degree view of serene salt marsh and a tidal pond beyond, this Yarmouth home is truly unique in its private, natural setting. From the wonderful privacy to the two spacious decks, the provided bikes to the gorgeous walks you can take - this is a place for a memorable stay on Cape Cod. This two-story home sits at the edge of wetlands that surround a saltwater pond, and it's just a quarter-mile stroll to Cape Cod Bay. At low tide, you can hike almost a mile out to Sandy Neck. If you're a beach-goer, head to a freshwater pond for children (one mile), a quiet stretch of sand overlooking Sandy Neck at Bone Hill (two miles), one of the many beaches one town over in Dennis, or the beaches overlooking Vineyard Sound to the south. No matter where you choose, you'll have beach chairs, towels, an umbrella, two adult-size bikes to get you there, and an outdoor shower and washer/dryer waiting for you back at home. Lovingly designed by its owner, the house is full of thoughtful touches - from central air and high-speed WiFi to a selection of books and board games for your entertainment. There are so many spaces to relax, including the brand-new deck overlooking the salt marsh, an upper balcony attached to one of the two primary suites, a classic living room, and a light-filled family room that opens to the kitchen. Even dining is an event here, with both a fantastic screened porch for sunset barbecues and a formal dining room for when the nights turn cool. Of the four bedrooms, two are primary suites with adjoining bathrooms. The main-floor suite features its own cable TV, study, and access to the deck; the upper-level suite opens to the private, spacious balcony. Two additional guest rooms are upstairs as well. We had a lovely family vacation, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Eagle’s Nest. The beds were comfortable, and the showers were great, including outdoors. The kitchen was well equipped, and there were comforts throughout the house. We loved the location and neighborhood, and the privacy of the home. This was our first visit to this part of the cape and our extended family of 7 thoroughly enjoyed it!
We loved this neighborhood! The back deck was the perfect spot for watching the sunset over the pond. Charming house and very private.
