Happy Place

The home is in a great location. Just minutes from beach and fishing. Also, it's a great neighborhood to take a walk without all the traffic on the main street. It's anywhere between 10-30 minutes to Hyannis and the harbor, but there are plenty of great restaurants within walking distance. The house itself was great. We really liked the sitting area out back under the Gazebo, and there always seemed to be a nice breeze coming through. The only thing we were missing was a can opener LOL!

I was not completely happy with The Happy Place. Upon my arrival the electronic front door lock didn't operate so I could not get in the house. That was a bad start. Although the location and neighborhood was great, the home was out dated and tired looking. It was ok for me and my guest since it was just 2 adult males using the home and we only needed the beds and the kitchen and did not spend much time inside the home. I will say the beds were comfortable, the linens were clean, the bath, although outdated had good water pressure and hot water in the shower, the streaming tv worked well with my fubo service, and the kitchen appliances were clean and functional. But I would not go back with a family or with children since much of the furniture was worn, the carpets were stained, and overall the home looked unloved.

This house is clean, well appointed and has everything you need for a great stay! We love that it is near everything and will return!

Location was good. It was quiet and peaceful.
