We had a lovely time at the Pond View Getaway. We arrived during a Fall Nor’easter, but felt very safe in this sturdy home. The gas fireplace kept us cozy and warm. Fully equipped kitchen with ingredients from the local grocery store made cooking a nice pot of chili very easy. Once the weather cleared we enjoyed the foliage, a day in Hyannis, and afternoon coffee/tea on the front porch. We enjoyed the Sandwich Glass Museum as well. We enjoyed most meals in the house, but had some good meals at a local tavern, trattoria and cafe. We could see how much fun this place could be in the summer for fishing, swimming, kayaking, and hiking. Not only can you use the pond across the street, but Peter’s Pond a short hike in back. Feeding the fish in the little Koi Pond in the yard was a special treat. For the readers, the upstairs had a collection of best sellers and also a collection of teen series books. For the retro listeners, we found a collection of 70’s classic records downstairs. Lots of board games in the kitchen and access to many streaming services in the living room. We really couldn’t ask for more! Only 2 things would make this trip even better. A railing on the outside staircase. It was challenging with groceries or luggage in hand and the access code could be shorter. It took us 3 or 4 tries with the 10 digit code.

The house was better than the photos. Super clean 3 floors was prefect with the kids. Close fishing and a private beach. Super clean we all got recharged sealed the deal were moving to the Cape. Great job

House was in a nice quiet location. Everything was in good condition. All basic amenities provided. It was nice to have access to the beach at the pond and use of the beach gear. We enjoyed our stay!

The house is really nice and has above average furnishings. It has a nice porch overlooking a small pond that is a great place to have a cup of coffee. It s spread over three floors so you can get some privacy. They thought of most everything that you might need which was great.
