South Cape's Escape

We enjoyed our stay! Loved the property and the area! Had everything we needed. Lovely decor, comfortable beds, nice TV

Communication was not good. We experienced a broken air conditioner unit which took 3-4 days to fix, and only because I texted multiple times each day. There was no propane in the tank attached to the grill, so we had to pay for a fill-up out-of-pocket. We had questions about tv and trash pickup that were answered very strangely (“remotes are usually by the tv, try looking there,” and “take the trash with you to keep the unit clean for the next guests”). Check-out instructions were lacking, so we did the best we could with used towels and bed sheets and clean dishes. I don’t know, this stay was just okay. I’d stay again, knowing what to expect, but for the amount of money we paid to stay, I feel like this place needs a bit of a facelift.

Condo was decorated nicely. But it felt grimy. There was so much dog hair on all the living room furniture. The bedspread on the lower bunk bed had what looked to be smeared snot on it and the pillow. My child did not want to lay on it so I looked for extra blankets and the ones in the closet smelled like they hadn’t been washed in some time. There was a dirty spoon in the media cabinet in the bedroom. The condo had a very musty, mildew smell and I was happy we only stayed for two nights.

This is a spacious, beautiful condo next to a golf course in a lovely neighborhood. Very close to South Cape Beach state park. We were very comfortable and had a great time. Definitely recommend.

The condo is very lovely. Only two of us but clearly big enough for a large family. AT&T reception was just one bar but the WiFi was excellent. The kitchen had much of what you would want to cook meals including a Keurig coffee so bring K-cups. And there is a DVD player available so bring a couple of movies. We enjoyed our stay at the South Cape Escape. The condo was very clean and the furnishings including the beds were comfortable. The owner decorated the condo with seasonal fall decorations which made the place feel quite homey. We will stay here again if our future travels bring us back to this area.
