It is also a 10-minute drive to Mashpee Commons, a quaint shopping area with restaurants, a movie theater, and grocery stores. Spend afternoons swimming, paddle boarding, or kayaking in the crystal-clear freshwater lake just steps from your front door. Three kayaks are provided. Or rent a boat and spend the day fishing, then tie off at the dock that can accommodate up to a 19’ vessel. A boat ramp is located nearby. After a fun-filled day, have dinner on the screened porch before enjoying an evening of stargazing in the large backyard. The updated cottage offers all-new furniture and bedding throughout to ensure your comfort. A light-filled and spacious open living area has a comfy loveseat. Gather around the TV and watch a movie or enjoy a game night with your favorite people. The 120-square-foot screened porch provides a fantastic spot to spend time with friends and family and to spend lazy afternoons reading or taking in beautiful lake views. Prepare your favorite foods in the modern kitchen, fully stocked with all the cooking gadgets you might need. Expansive counters offer ample space to prep and a bar provides a spot to perch while dinner simmers. When it’s time to eat, call your crew to the dinner table for a family-style feast. If you’re accompanied by tiny travelers, a child-size table and chairs are conveniently located nearby. The sunny primary bedroom includes a comfy queen bed, a dresser, and a TV, while the second bedroom provides two twin-size beds, a fan, and a dresser. The bathroom features a spacious walk-in shower. Pack your Frisbee because this backyard has plenty of room to play. Walk down the stairs to the shared dock and spend the afternoon on the lake (three kayaks provided), or kick back in the sitting area created especially for stargazing.
