Dine on the breezy screened porch and gather around the wood-burning firepit on the patio for evening conversation and S'mores. This three-bedroom cottage comes well-appointed with all the comforts of home. Enjoy casual downtime and family movie nights in the living room, furnished with comfortable seating, a flatscreen TV, and fireplace for cozy get-togethers. The full kitchen comes ready for home-cooking with a full suite of major appliances, plenty of counter space, and utensils. Indoor dining options include a breakfast bar for two and dining area set for six. Two bedrooms and a shared, full bathroom are located on the first floor. The primary bedroom occupies the second floor and includes an en suite bathroom. The cottage is very nice and comfortable and the location is great for Bay side and ocean beaches. Great screened porch, deck and fire pit

As indicated in my title, this property is a true Cape Cod treasure! It is sufficiently and comfortably updated yet retains a traditional charm. The layout is excellent. As a frequent VRBO customer, one item I always scrutinize is the comfort of the living area especially the seating and furniture around a gathering place for conversation and TV viewing. The Blue Heron cottage certainly provided this. The charm is evident throughout the house with its interesting wall art and other decorative items that enhance a traditional feel. So many rentals miss out on this. We loved the quiet street and backyard area. It provided for a peaceful respite from the busy Cape traffic and crowds. The location, in general, is very good, nearby to beaches, restaurants and other activities. The kitchen and bathrooms were immaculate and had everything one could need. The beds were comfortable, another important item for us. I have not returned to some rentals because of poor mattresses. These were great. We travel often to Eastham to visit our daughter and family, and we have stayed in many different rental properties. The Blue Heron is now our favorite, so we will look to return here in the future.

Quaint cozy home in prime location. Everything you need is in the home which is great. All you really need to bring is your toothbrush. The house definitely has curb appeal. There are games to play inside the home and no issues with Wi-Fi. The bedroom decor is a little dated but in pretty good condition. The living area is very comfortable. Definitely enough space so that everybody has their downtime. I can’t really think of anything negative about the home - overall it was very comfortable and cozy. No issues with anything. Everything was working fine. I would definitely stay here again.
