Kingsbury Beach on Cape Cod Bay is half a mile west, Coast Guard Beach (part of Cape Cod National Seashore) is three miles east, and several excellent restaurants, clam shacks, and cafes are within a couple of miles. Downtown Provincetown, with its lively events, boutiques, and whale-watching tours, is only 23 miles north. Walk home from the park or the beach in the afternoon to sneak a cat nap in the hammock, or light the gas grill for an evening barbecue at sunset. There's plenty of space for the kids to play in the yard as you toss the day's swimsuits and towels in the washer/dryer inside. Wood-paneled walls and abundant windows add to the warm and inviting ambience of the interior. Begin each morning by sipping a cup of coffee in the sunroom overlooking the backyard, flipping pancakes in the well-equipped kitchen, and sitting down for breakfast around the dining room table.
