This was our first time in Falmouth and this cottage was a perfect resting place. It was secluded and quite. I loved coffee in the morning in the outside chairs overlooking the pond and afternoon cocktails. It was a perfect location for us and a great property.

This house was not as pictured online. The rugs and the furniture are dated and showing wear and tear. The paint on the front door is peeling, and the door is difficult to open and close. The ceiling paint in the guest room is also peeling and the light fixture in that room doesn’t work. The single plastic Adirondack chair in the front yard was cracked. There is also an unsigghtly airstream camper parked in the back yard and the front yard had cheap Fourth of July decorations laying on the grass. The house's location was walking distance from the beach and the view from the front yard was nice, but no comfortable chairs to enjoy the view.

The cottage was well-equipped for our stay, beds were comfortable, kitchen had what we needed. The pond view was lovely to look at as we enjoyed coffee or a book in the front yard seating. The short walk to multiple beach access points and a local restaurant/bar is the best part. The house is also close to two ferry options to Martha’s Vineyard from Falmouth and a short drive to Woods Hole. The stay exceeded our expectations and we would stay here again.
