We completely enjoyed our stay in Brewster. The house felt like home and we especially appreciated the kind extra holiday themed-touches. We were steps away from the ocean and even though it was late November, we bundled up in parkas and boots and explored the tidal plains (at low tide), the beach and the trails through the neighborhood wooded areas. Brewster was quiet and it truly felt like we were visiting a relative's home for the long weekend. Thank you so very much!
Quiet, charming location near public beach and bike trail. House and amenities were exactly as pictured.
I loved the home’s seafaring heritage, rooted in generations of the family’s naval service (as the owners shared in a write-up about the history of the home). It has all the charm and character of a Cape Cod vacation by the beach, with a view of the Brewster Flats from both the kitchen and the patio. Being able to walk right to the beach—without ever worrying about parking—made the experience so relaxing. We also loved the easy walks to Cobie’s for classic fish dinners, as well as the proximity to local spots like Snowy Owl for coffee, the Brewster Book Store, and Hopkins Bakery for fresh muffins in the morning. The Cape Cod Rail Trail is perfect for morning walks or bike rides, and the Brewster Flats at low tide are an amazing place to explore. Plus, Nickerson State Park is close by if you want a day on the ponds instead of the ocean. And Orleans Cape Rep Theater is close by for great community theater. Altogether, this home felt like the quintessential Cape Cod getaway!
The home was lovely, immaculate and spacious. Plenty of room for everyone. We really liked the very short walk to the beach. All in all we would absolutely stay there again.
Multiple spaces, close to beach, outdoor yard, clean, amenities, etc. Vey enjoyable place.
We are a group of four friends who fell in love with the Brewster beaches years ago. The house is comfortable, full of amenities and a short walk to the beach. It’s worth the price for now, hopefully we can keep coming back.
