The Dockhouse

Comfortable bungalow with screened-in porch as well as outdoor table and chairs. Has marina on Lemon Bay, which is nice for a short walk to to see the water. Quiet. Highly recommended

This house is adorable. We loved the lanai and spent every morning and many evenings sipping coffee and playing board games. It is super convenient to beaches, a convenience store, and a short walk to a highly rated restaurant. The boat slip is two doors down. (We didn’t use it). There is ample parking. My kids enjoyed exploring the fenced in backyard and the neighbors were so kind. It is a short walk to a great spot to sit and watch the sun go down over a cute little bay. The only suggestion we have is curtains for the bedrooms because the neighbor’s flood lights are super bright but we also brought sleep masks. We plan on booking here again. We have family in the area and plan to use this rental again. We loved it!

The home was super clean upon arrival and had everything we needed for a long weekend taking in Atlanta Braves Spring Training games in nearby Northport. The location was great for us, as it was pretty low key and quiet. There was a nice breakfast/coffee shop nearby that we could walk to and a couple other restaurants within walking distance. One of our favorite things was the waterfront at the end of the road - we saw two amazing sunsets there while on our visit. The Dockhouse also had a nice screened in porch area that was nice to use when it was raining and a great spot to enjoy coffee in the mornings. It was really all we needed for our trip.

We loved the location and the cleanliness of the house.

The beds were great. The price was reasonable. The washer and dryer were excellent. Water quality was good. The shower had good water pressure and was very roomy:) The house manager was fabulous and very friendly.
