The Beach Hive Cottage

We brought our 4 kids to Florida to visit old friends. This property had everything we needed for our trip. They had beach chairs, umbrellas, sand toys, coolers, and a cart to help with the beach. We also had plenty of beds, for our whole family and our kids loved sitting in the sun room. Super close to several beaches and tons of restaurants. The property management was very helpful and accommodating.

The Good…This home is in a great location and is walkable/bike rideable It’s close to shopping, restaurants, and close to Delnor Wiggins State Park. Could be better…the shattered master bath window is still an issue left over from last November/December.

This home is in a good location and was clean when we arrived. There are many issues with the home however that make me wonder why we paid so much per night to stay. The lights flicker when you use the kitchen sink, the master bedroom light and fan do not work, the washing machine stopped mid cycle leaving our clothes sitting in a full washer for quite a while until I noticed and forced a spin cycle, thought the laundry room lights were broken, until we realized they were connected to another switch for god knows what reason. None of the room ceiling lights would turn on. No Tv in one of the bedrooms, master bathroom window was shattered and taped together, the sliding door shades were all broken and let light in during the mornings/did not provide privacy in the evenings. Those are the bads, the good things were great amenities in the form of beach gear and the pool table kept the kids entertained while we were on free time during the trip. Also like previously stated, the location was great. I cannot say I will choose this home again next time we are in Naples.

Everything was as described. The only issue was the major construction happening on the entire street. Hopefully that will be resolved soon, but that’s not the homeowners fault.
