Golden Shore 3

This year we wanted to be in walking distance of the beach. It was so great being able to wake up, and walk right to the beach. The house was able to comfortably fit 4 adults and 3 kids. The house was clean, and there were enough cups, coffee mugs, and plates for everyone. I would go back again.

This place was perfectly fine for a short beach weekend. Pros: The proximity to the beach (literally a 1 minute walk to sand) is great and the main draw. You're walkable to a few restaurants but in a quieter/less crowded part of Ocean City, which we preferred. We had no trouble finding free street parking right nearby for our group's second car. We appreciated that the rental had some beach chairs and umbrellas for our use so we didn't have the bring/rent. The kitchen has all the basic cooking tools you'll need. Limitations: While the inside was as advertised and seemed clean (no sign of a bad smell someone else had mentioned), it just doesn't have the amenities, square footage, or niceness of similarly priced condo rentals. The photos make it seem a little bigger than it feels; it is cramped. While there is a photo of a pool, that is actually a neighboring building that you won't have access to, which felt misleading. Sound travels in this small condo building; we could clearly hear the footsteps of the neighbors above us at at night. The window AC unit struggled to keep the living room comfortably cool on a particularly hot Saturday. And overall the furniture/space just felt a little worn. If you want a simple landing spot for a short beach weekend and think you'll mostly be at the beach, this place does the trick just fine, but expect no frills.

Bad smell which made the crew uncomfortable. The window in the living area doesn’t have curtain or shade so we had to use towels to cover the window - I’m not sure why this was too hard to fix before allowing a gust to stay in. It looks like the layers are too thin to the extent we’re hearing everything from the upper apartment and too noisy for little ones & myself particularly on the first day of pour stay - it looks like the guests either checked-in OR stayed outside up until mid night where everyone in our unit was sleeping. So those neighbors were not totally cognizant about others. The location was great but too pricy - 2k for two night was too much!!!

Needs some updating in the bathroom. The finish is wearing off the tub and it makes it look dirty. The clothes washer has a bad smell. Overall the place seemed to be cleaned well. Beds were neatly made and vacuum lines were still visible in the carpet when we arrived. It was nice that towels and sheets are included and some extra pillows as well. One parking spot is included behind the building and there are a few guest spaces too. There is street parking across the street if you need more. There is a kurig and regular coffee maker and an air fryer. We would have liked to have a regular toaster as well.

Location was great

The condo is in a great location. Beach is not crowded and there are restaurants and markets very close by.
