Assateague Pointe - Helmsman

Home is in a great location. The area is secure & quiet. The pool looked nice though we didn’t use it.

The home was very clean. Bedrooms were clean, beds comfortable. Kitchen clean and well stocked with items to cook,eat, and clean-up. A washer/dryer was available but we did not use it. Bathroom was clean with a tub/shower. We had a couple of small issues- ants. However, we noted that other guests in the area were having the same issue. We bring this up in case you or your guests are allergic to ants. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to staying again in the future. We will recommend the property to our travel clients and our family/friends.

it was nice to be right in the middle of ocean city and assateague island and we loved ridiing our bikes through the neighborhood.

This property was perfect for our short stay near Ocean City. The neighborhood is quiet and feels safe. Location is close to everything we wanted to visit. The house is clean and has all the necessities for cooking. We were not there long enough to take advantage of the Wi-Fi, pools and other amenities. We definitely want to stay here again and hope we can stay longer.

This house was the most spacious small house we have ever rented. The property was well kept as was the inside of the house. All of the rooms were very spacious including the bathroom. Plenty of storage space to keep your bags hidden while enjoying your stay. The home was the perfect size for my family of four. The kitchen has all of the bare necessities when it comes to pots and pans but plenty of plates, cups, utensils and silverware. But what was available for cooking suited us just fine. I did read the reviews before renting this property and all of the negative things that were listed were not present issues when we stayed for 6 days. Kudos to the owners and rental company for taking care of all of the issues promptly. The only negative we had for our stay was the A/C. The guidelines say to have it set to 70 but the week we were there was in the high 90's all week. The A/C didn't work to keep the home cool. it was in the 80's at the hottest part of the day but this may be due to the sky lights. I would suggest bringing fans like we did and that helped a ton. We will most definitely rent this property again. The development is very well kept and quiet. There are two pools that are very nice and refreshing along with a couple of ponds to enjoy and a nice playground too. There is plenty of store and such within 5-8 minutes including restaurants, grocery store, gas station and more. Frontier town is 1/4 mile down the road and a great place to visit for fun and ice cream. The OC Boardwalk is just 10 minutes away and Assateague Island is less than that. This location is perfect location to be just outside the hustle and bustle of the busy town.

Great community, good location, reasonable prices the home was just a little outdated and the air conditioning did not work properly.
