Al-Be Vacation Villas, Unit 1

This air bnb wasn’t “perfect” but it was perfect for us and our dogs while we were clearing out our apartment preparing for a move. The parking and surrounding areas were extremely helpful for walks and potty time for the pups.

This is a small place but it’s in a very good location and was perfect for my 2 dogs and me. Quick walk to the beach, lots of restaurants nearby, and a quiet neighborhood.

The location is great for families. It is a quiet neighborhood with the bus depot a block away. There is a really cool arcade on 137th that you can walk to along with other gold courses, donut shops, ice cream shops etc all within walking distance around. However, we will not stay here again for a few reasons. The beds are HORRIBLE. The bunk beds in the bedroom squeak so loudly anytime you move. The fan in the bedroom is also very loud. The worst part, there are ants. Which, I understand completely you can find ants everywhere but there are 3 or 4 ant traps alone on the counters. We didn't see any ants the first day, figured the traps worked and there was an ant problem. However, we ended up having to throw away multiple items of food in all of the following days because after day 1 they were everywhere. All over the kitchen, in the bedroom, in the living room- everywhere. I was texted by the company asking how things were going and told them there was a lot of ants, they responded with someone would be dropping off ant traps that afternoon- no one came!! I texted the next day and they said someone would drop them off later which did happen but only after having to text twice about it. Also, there should be a note to not turn off the light switch right next to the front door in the living room as it turns off the wifi which controls all the tvs. We had such a hard time reconnecting it and getting any tv to work again needing wifi.

The setup was cute an the area was quiet, also close to anything you would need.. If I knew that everything that was broken would be fixed, I would absolutely go back to that same spot.

6 minute walk to the beach, comfy living space for our family of 3, LOVE the quiet area of Ocean City and at about $230 a night (which includes all of the fees) at the height of the summer season, I am very pleased. We’ve paid twice the cost for other places in OC and they were not twice as nice. This place is a bargain, so set your expectations, but if you’re spending most of your time at the beach in the day or out for dinner, this place is great. Even with that, we hung in most nights watching the Olympics and we were very comfortable. Would recommend this place for a couple or family of three.

Solid unit in a great location in north ocean city. Near harpoon Hanna’s, king kone, Billy’s, and lost treasure island golf. Walking distance to beach. The unit itself is a little on the cheap end. Low quality furniture and somewhat small space. It gets the job done and is cheaper option in town. You get what you pay for here. Also pet friendly which is a huge plus
