Nice size. Beds were very comfortable. Balcony was great without other condos looking into ours. Nice views of the beach and waves. Check-in info could be clearer.
We love the Sea Watch, and it's a joy to come back each summer. The in-house movie theater and indoor pool were especially useful as Hurricane Erin passed by (and the beaches were closed). However, this unit specifically could use a little maintenance and softer mattresses, which would have improved our stay. The view is spectacular, though.
The view was outstanding! Easy access to the beach, pool, and building. Liked the washer and dryer access. The building was nice and employees friendly. Just could some updating. Balcony was wonderful. Add a bigger bed and shelving in the shower, and the condo would be 5 out of 5!
Excellent building, great views, very good condo, furniture upgrades can help.
The place is clean and bldg has great parking and amenities.
let me first say that this unit is average at best. it is missing so many basics that i felt the need to make you aware. It is not the worst and it not the best. we have stayed in the seawatch probably 11 times over the last 16 years so I feel like my opinion on units in the Seawatch are valid and warranted. We booked this unit kind of last minute because this building is our favorite building to stay in we know the layout of the units and all the amenities of the building so we were very excited to book this at a very reasonable price. I read all the reviews before I booked so I was a little prepared for what I was going to get. I am not going to tell you to not stay in this unit. I’m just going to make you aware of all the things that you will not get if you stay in 1703 again I am not the owner operator but if they spent $1500 or $2000 would the owner be able to charge a little bit more but the renter will have so much of a better experience. please take what you want. I will say that we had an absolutely amazing vacation and the condo did not ruin any part of our vacation. This is merely an informative summary, and I hope it helps. No full length mirror. Living room sleeper sofa is NOT the sofa in the photos and is absolutely uncomfortable to sit on, cushions sink into the framework. Refrigerator leaks inside and out. No tupperware containers in the kitchen. No living room coffee table or anywhere to put your feet up. No table on balcony not even a tiny. plastic table to set a drink. No ceiling fans. Light switches don’t control any lights. No smart tvs. bring a fire stick or roku if u wanna steam anything. Tiny ipad size tv in den. Master bed is just horrible we brought a foam pad with and it barely helped. No small towel bars in bathrooms for a hand towel near sink. Stove is grimy. No lid for the garbage can in kitchen. All Bedding feels like paper, no comfortable extra blankets or comforter. Towels are super small and worse than basic Toilet paper is one ply and very thin worst i’ve ever had. No storage in standup shower, nowhere to put anything like shampoo or soap. No drying rack in laundry room. No fly swatter (flies were terrible).
