Pros: The overall main thing I liked, and why I chose it in the first place, was that, as someone going to OC by myself, it felt right-sized - but with things I wanted in a place. Staying a week I wanted a serviceable kitchen, but I didn't need that much space. Most places fit for just one person (with a price that reflects that) seem to be hotel rooms with no kitchen, or bigger (so more expensive) condo units with multiple bedrooms/baths I do not need. So a place with the amenities that I wanted, but small enough that it was "priced right" for me is what made this unit stand out. Cons: The refrigerator was quite loud. It worked fine in that it kept frozen stuff frozen and cold stuff cold (which is the most important part) - but it was loud. The other thing was the curtains in the bedroom - while fine for privacy - kept very little sun out. I personally like doing some sleeping in while on vacation, but as soon as the sun rose the bedroom would get super bright (it doesn't help that the window faces east where the sunrises). Having much more opaque curtains to keep it as dark as possible until I want to wake up would have been nice.

The location was nice. The particular unit we rented was a little small for my family of 5 so definitely would rent something bigger next time.

Even though you only get 1 parking pass, the visitors center is access the street and it’s free parking. Wear shoes or flip flops inside. The floor inside will make your feet dirty. The front door pops open if you turn the knob back and forth a couple of times. Rug outside is torn and potentially dangerous

Well equipped condo! Had all the needs you can think of. We only had to bring our own personal needs, foods/drinks, and replenished supplies as they run low. Very nice area and neighbors! Within a breeze of walking to the beach and walking minutes of various yummy places to eat and relax. My family of 6 filled the place wall to wall with the making of a first vacation to the ocean, OCMD will definitely be a wonderful place to return to for a family oriented vacation! It was good to know we had picked a great location and environment to share the Salt Life with our boys!
