Generations

The home is within walking distance to Douglas Beach and a short drive to Oval Beach. Nice quiet area. We enjoyed seeing deer in the backyard.

The location to Douglas City Beach was a perfect little walk/quick drive away. The yard had all sorts of wildlife. The house has good space and lots of beds … but it is all probably in need of some love and repairs.

Generations was a great place for our family to stay during a long weekend trip to Douglass/Saugatuck. It was a nice halfway point for folks from Chicago and Detroit. For 7 adults and 2 kids there was plenty of room for everyone. The best part was the large kitchen and dining area where everyone congregated. Very close to Oval Beach and downtown Saugatuck to spend the days and short half mile walk to Douglass beach to view the beautiful sunsets. The big deck with 2 patio tables, string lights, grill, and firepit all added to the wonderful experience.

We had a girls' weekend with plans to attend the Tulip Festival in nearby Holland, MI. We did go see the tulips one day but spent the majority of our time at the house eating, playing games, and enjoying the firepit and each other's company. The kitchen was excellent for gathering.

Group of guys who golf, had a nice grill and backyard. Showers with powerful water pressure and beds were comfortable.

We enjoyed this cozy little spot as it was prefectly located to access all the activities of the area. The house was large enough for our group and the spacious backyard was perfect for the kids in the evenings. The grill is brand-new and worked wonderfully for our dinners in due to pressures of Covid. A few pots and pans could be refreshed but got the job done. Over-all, a great spot with plenty of room to stretch out and relax. Very clean too.
