La Colita

This dog-friendly house calls out relaxation! La Colita, which means 'little tail', is a fabulous Shaker style single-family home with three bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms and a private pool. The home is tucked away on a quiet street surrounded by trees in Harbert, MI. The main level features an open concept plan with the eat-in kitchen and living area flowing seamlessly into one another. The kitchen is fully equipped and offers plenty of room for meal prep. The comfortable living room is oriented toward the built-in fireplace with access to the outdoors. Two of the three bedrooms are on the main floor. They each have queen beds and open out to the fenced-in area of the yard where the pool is set. There is a large screened-in porch off of the house, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the evenings or watching the action by the pool. The upper level houses the main bedroom, which is furnished with a queen bed. There is also a sitting area outside of the bedroom where you can unwind and watch some TV or read a book on the window seat. The house is filled with collectible furniture and decor which gives it a very casual, relaxing atmosphere. The owners had the foresight to grab up the lots on either side of the house so there is plenty of room for outdoor games and privacy. The large heated pool offers yet another way for guests to relax and enjoy the summer weather, and if you tire of the pool, a walk of a few blocks will put you at Harbert Beach. If you want a house off the beaten path but with all the perks of a summer home, you won't find something more appropriate than La Colita. THINGS TO KNOW The pool will be open from Memorial Day through Labor Day, with the possibility of early opening or late closing by a couple of weeks, but is completely weather-dependent.
