What our guests are saying...
Crystal Haven offers great value with a spacious layout, abundant sleeping space, and plenty of room for groups and families to spread out comfortably. The home is described as clean, roomy, and well suited for gatherings, with separated areas that work especially well for different age groups. Its central setting and easy access make it convenient for golf trips and ski stays, and guests appreciated that it is close to and within walking distance of the slopes. Standout property features include a large entryway and mudroom for gear storage, a garage that works well for skis and snowboards, a basement lounge area with a large television and sectional seating, and a kitchen stocked with useful cookware and appliances for easy meal preparation. Guests also appreciated the driveway being promptly plowed after snowfall and noted that the home is fun, well equipped, and a place they would gladly return to.

We loved this house and already booked it again for next year. The mudroom area was amazing for ski season to keep all boots, coats, etc. out of the rest of the house. The garage was great for the actual skis and snowboards. Everyone used the hot tub. Walking distance to the slopes, but it’s a longer walk for ski boots, but very doable.
We loved the price point, location, and amount of beds that accommodated our family of 7 adults and 8 kids. The kitchen pans, appliances, and gizmos made meal prep a breeze. The separated areas were great for kids and teens. However, the garage game area was not warm enough to use on the sub zero winter weekend. that we had. Sadly, the hot tub was not working and we were not informed ahead of time nor compensated enough to purchase a one day Crystal Mtn. pool pass ($21 x 15 guests = $315) which was disappointing for the kids and part of the reason this unit was booked. We also believe that deep cleaning and minor maintenance could help this place. Mouse droppings were found in the basement sleeper sofa, the stopper did not go up and down in one bath so we removed it for our stay, one bar stool needed the rungs glued in and did not look safe for any weight. These were shared with Vacasa so hopefully these are addressed for future guests!
Location
So no hot tub for the length of our stay and the answer is a mere $33 refund. 2 beds were found with what appeared to be public hairs or possibly dog hairs and the answer was to drop bedding off a day later and have us change the bedding ourselves? Plus offering use of the crystal pool/hot tub facilities so late only 3 of us had the opportunity to take advantage of it and only able to use it 1 evening (where do I send the receipt to be reimbursed?). To say the group was extremely disappointed is an understatement. We found the dining room table and countertops had to be wiped down because of crusty residue all over them. The microwave hasn’t appeared to have been cleaned in who knows and not only had food splatter everywhere inside it we actually found a long hair inside it. Whatever cleaning company you currently use should be replaced immediately.
The house was great for a big group of girls!! Enough beds for 17 people to sleep comfortably and house was clean. Great walking distance to crystal mountain. Although everything was great, the hot tub would overflow with only 4 people in it,. The water ended up over the floor and since there was no drain we had to use ALL the towels to get all the water soaked up (the floor had at least 1 inch of standing water).
We enjoyed the home and how roomy it was for our large group. It was close and walking distance to the slopes. We would come back!
