Goshorn Lake's Endless Summer

We liked how they had boats.

Perfect little cottage for a summer getaway. The small lake just down the street was a nice way to spend evenings, or at the pool, which my daughter really loved. Appreciated the ramp to get into the entrance of the cottage for our kiddo's wheelchair.

This is a lovely, extremely clean 2 bedroom cabin. We had three adults and one child stay and we were all very comfortable. The kitchen amenities are ample. There is Wi-Fi, however, it’s very slow. The cabin is directly across the street from the pool and steps away from Goshorn Lake, which has a small beach, kayaks, and row boats for public use. They have a very nice picnic table right outside with a charcoal burning grill and a public area with a campfire ring that can be used by guests at the Goshorn resort. The setting is lovely. The area is surrounded with beautiful trees. The entire vibe took me back to summer camps I went to when I was young. Highly recommend. And the property management company, Vacasa, was excellent to deal with. Their communication both before and during our stay was outstanding.

Goshorn Lake is wonderful and the cottage, though dated, was clean inside. It was difficult to get correct information from the management company. We think there were too many layers between owner, Vacasa, VRBO, local association resulting in renters not getting updated information. Wish they had a house manual or a way to make stay in this great place less stressful to stay in. If you advertise something as part of the rental (wifi, pool) that means renters should be able to access it without problems!

Located just outside of downtown Saugatuck, this serene lake setting feels like you're miles from everything. All lake equipment provided. Community pool was nice, too. Property was clean. This unit has a screened porch and a picnic table. Nice stay.

We loved the location of this resort, close to everything we wanted to do and just down the road from the Saugatuck Dune Rides, which was a highlight of our trip! Loved that there was a lake with a beach and a heated outdoor pool and the cabin’s location to these amenities was perfect!
