So much fun watching and listening as a thunderstorm filled up the millpond and move the waterwheel! Plenty of room for a couples weekend retreat, great location and easy access. Loved it!

Location and character of the place were wonderful. Great nostalgic feeling. If you want coffee, better bring your own along with large filters. The furniture, especially the bed, could use some updating.

We loved staying at the Peterson Mill this October. It was such a beautiful property and such a unique and affordable stay. The living quarters were great for a couple and a fun experience. It’s a quick walk to the downtown and within walking distance of The Southerner restaurant. We hope to stay here again soon!

Watch out for the very steep stairs. They could be a widow maker. Otherwise loved the quietness and the location. A unique home.
