We had 16 people and it was prefect, everyone had a bed. The kitchen was big, had alot of dishes. Walking distance to downtown. We would stay here again.
Absolutely beautiful!!
We stayed with friends and family over New Years at the Blacker House. It's a historic house and it was cool to read about it and see pictures of its restoration. The home itself had lots of bedrooms and bathrooms, the kitchen had lots of amenities, and we had a very comfortable stay. We also put enjoyed some of the games, puzzles and ping pong table that were available. It will be fun to see what this place is like in the summer time.
We love this house, our 2nd stay here for sleigh bell weekend. So much space in the living area for 9 adults and 2 children to hang out and not feel crowded. The woodwork and history of the is house is wonderful. A bit on the chilly side in the bedrooms but that’s to be expected in older homes. We’ll be back agin!🎄
We visit Manistee every fall as an extended family trip. This is a 30+ year family tradition. We've stayed in various places, but this is one of our favorites. This is our 3rd year staying here. There are 16 of us, and it fits our family perfect! House is spacious, 2 sitting areas and a living room. A dining area that you can completely close off, so a group can be playing games in the dining room, and another group can be watching football or a movie without bothering eachother. The 3rd floor having a ping pong table and hang out area for the kids. We will continue to come back here each year it is available!
Nice large historic home near downtown Manistee. Walkable to beaches. Three stories property with great family room, large kitchen and dining area and porch on lower level. Very comfortable property. Note: Floorplan reflects historic trends--ie: walk thru one bedroom to access the other. No ensuite bathrooms. Property was perfect for our family trip.
