Beach Cottage

The cottage looked exactly as pictured and all amenities etc were just as depicted by other reviewers. We enjoyed the cottage and it's fairly secluded location on the beautiful lake very much. It was perfect for us and we all agreed this was definitely a favorite to which we will return.

It was difficult preparing meals with very very limited cookware. Not a single frying pan. No baking sheet. One giant stock pot had to be used to cook everything. Ever made a pancake in a stock pot? I have. Got burned a couple times but the pancakes turned out ok I guess…

Loved the privacy of this place. Easy to find, right off the highway. We had plans to leave and see the town but we loved the cottage so much we just stayed and relaxed all day/night. The view was amazing! There are quite a few stairs but it's not a straight down which made it so much better with the breaks. The water was clear, the sand was so clean. It was beautiful! The inside has a nice sun room with a large table to eat or play games on. The living room was fine, could use more comfortable chairs/couch but it was nice. Kitchen could use another skillet. We definitely enjoyed it and it was a great place to end our week of traveling!

Fabulous location on a bluff overlooking Lake Michigan with a very nice beach. The cottage was a little on the shabby side but otherwise fine, other than the bed in the middle bedroom which was saggy and made it difficult for 2 people to use.

The location was terrific except for all the stairs that you had to climb.
